First of all there are two places where you can smoke that is Crew Bar and Crew Open Deck. If you take the first option then you need to eat fast and run in Crew Bar so you can. Smoking is not permitted in any dining venue theater bar lounge hallway elevator and jogging track.

Also a good number of smokers gamblegamblers smoke and cruise ships have casinos ergohigher smoking potential on ships than on land. Crew members are aware of this risk but this doesnt bother them. As a non-smoker Im fine with the outdoor permitted smoking spaces but not violating the rules and smoking on balconies and mostly fine with casino smoking but wish ventilation was better so it didnt creep into other areas of the ship.

Cruise ship smoking areas are usually tucked out of the way and are pretty easy for non-smokers to avoid. All cruise ships allow people to smoke but access is limited. On Seabourn ships smoking is permitted on one side of the Sky Bar and one side of the open terrace aft of The Club on Deck.
