Tuesday 23 May 2017. In July 2017 the privately owned ship MS The World booked a stop here once. Many offer honest advice but many need to be taken with a grain of salt.

Ship is beautiful with s great staff. While there is no spa or fitness there is an elliptical machine and exercise bike under the covered portion of the ships sun deck. Holland America Line is replacing one of its ships with a larger one in 2017 growing its capacity by about 35 percent from the 2016 season.

Since this was our first cruise and first time to Alaska I thought Id write a little bit about the experience. The new Fairweather is a beautiful ship with lovely seating areas quiet nooks for study and play areas for children. Getting to know some of the performers was excellent.

Food was good and plenty in Cafe. From Vancouver BC to Alaska. My coffee is steaming as is my breath as I exhale in the cold morning air.
